WeeBothy: One bedroom Apartment
Our 'WeeBothy' is a little sandstone building that is converted into a one bedroom apartment, it's right next to the log cabin building. It is ideal for a romantic break for 2 - indeed we've had several honeymoon couples stay. It has a cosy bedroom (with twin or kingsize bed), wee designer bathroom with toiletries, relaxing lounge with double sofa bed and small kitchen area if you fancy more of a self catering break. (Kitchen area with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle. NO OVEN OR HOB.) Patio doors open from the lounge to a small decked area overlooking the fields beyond. It's mini self-catering at its cutest. Continental breakfast ingredients are supplied for your arrival unless other wise stated.
Our location is quite unique - we're not slap bang in the middle of a village, in fact, as you'd expect from log cabin accommodation we are surrounded by woodland. However, we are only 1 mile from the village of Ladybank and 4.5 miles from Cupar. At Ladybank station you can get a direct train regularly to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. Much of Fife is made up of tiny villages like Ladybank and Pitlessie and a car is desireable to get out and about exploring. We're approx. 35mins from the Forth Bridge by car, just off the A92. For those without a car, local taxis firms can be booked in advance.
We are 1.5 miles from Pitlessie, where the Village Inn serves great food - a lovely walk on a summers evening. Ladybank Championship Course is just down the road for the many golfers we see in the area. We're also a short drive away from many historic towns and villages such as St. Andrews (16miles) and Falkland (5miles). A drive along the Fife coastal route is a firm favourite with our visitors.
