Redlands Country Lodge is a guest house offering bed & breakfast with a REAL difference - a real WOOD difference. Nestled in the Heart of Fife, our cosy, terraced, log cabin rooms are individually styled with their own entrances.
We're different from many B&B's in that our rooms are completely separate from the main house so you can come and go as you please whilst exploring Fife. Stay for as little as one night in one room or book all 4 rooms with family and friends. You'll find our B&B in a countryside setting between the wee villages of Ladybank and Pitlessie, just off the A92 or A91 about 5 miles from Cupar and close to many historic towns and villages such as St. Andrews and Falkland.
Redlands Country Lodge is ideal for a romantic short break in Fife; a stop over on business; for groups of friends, golfers, hen weekends, special birthdays; a base for guests attending weddings at the likes of Fernie, Craigsanquhar, and Kilconquhar castles and Balbirnie House.
The relaxed atmosphere at Redlands means you can enjoy a great night's sleep in one of our 4 bedrooms and tuck in to a hearty Scottish breakfast served in the glorious conservatory garden room. We now have our own free-range organic hens to provide fresh eggs. Enjoy a spot of bird watching over breakfast too; you'll maybe see jay's, woodpeckers, wagtails and even a heron or two.
Spend time lazing around in the communal log cabin lounge, take a dip in our huge Alaskan cedar hot tub** overlooking farmland or check out the Scottish wildlife - including red squirrels - whilst walking in the local Fife woodlands. Children are welcome at Redlands and some of our rooms are dog-friendly so even Fido can stay too if you book him in in advance.
Visit The Old Course, St. Andrews 'The Home of Golf' or tee off on one of the many Fife golf courses nearby, from Ladybank Championship course to Lundin Links. Redlands is an ideal base for groups of golfers, especially golf parties of up to 10.
Attractions and events nearby include: Scottish Deer Centre, Falkland Palace, Fife Animal Park, Fife Coastal Path, The Secret Bunker, Craigtoun Park, St. Andrews Cathedral, Leuchars Airshow, Knockhill Racing Circuit, Cluny Clays, Howes Equestrian Centre (formerly Dabbs), The Big Tent.
If that's not enough, we're only 35mins from Edinburgh.

* £35 per person per night based on 2 sharing a room up to June 2009, £40pppn July/Aug excluding Xmas and New Year. Single occupancy rates from £50-£60. Room only rates from £30pppn if you're on a budget. Some rates may vary depending on length of stay - just call us to ask!
** There is a charge of £5 per person per stay to use the hot tub. The tub can be used in most weather conditions provided it's not lashing with rain... it's just not nice then!
