Our location is ideal for a wee escape - we're not slap bang in the middle of the village of Ladybank, but just about 1 mile away. We are on a country road, surrounded by fields, trees and stunning woodland walks. Well placed if you are working in and around the Cupar, Falkland, Pitlessie or Glenrothes area - perfect if you're looking for an alternative to a hotel whilst working in Fife.
For Mary, Queen of Scots and of course Outlander fans, a visit to Falkland with it's stunning palace and estate is a must - just 4 miles away. The market town of Cupar is 5 miles away, with a great Farmers market. Visit Hill of Tarvit mansion house or try horse riding at Barbarafield school nearby.
We love a drive to Tenstmuir beach and St Andrews - then carry along the Fife coastal route to visit the lovely fishing villages of Anstruther, Pittenweem and Crail.
From Ladybank Railway Station you can get to Dundee in 20 mins, Perth in 15 and even Edinburgh in an hour, crossing the famous Forth Rail bridge on the way.
Much of Fife is made up of tiny villages like Ladybank and Pitlessie and we'd recommend bringing a car to get out and about exploring. The nearest public transport is in Ladybank.
